Our farm is located at the heart of Shantawene Village with in 10km from Daye town in the midst of natural forest and indigenous tress which are expected to be older than 200 years.
The farm is at the reachable distance to out-growers in Bombe, Shantawene and Keramo villages. It is surround by rivers one of them separating Shantawene from Bombe  which runs from the hills above Karamo. To maintain natural shades and the fertility of the soil with consultancy of expertise from the ministry of agriculture various shade trees are planted in the farm.
Along with out-growers’ farms it is verified as Organic, C.A.F.E PRACTICE , UTZ and Rain Forest Alliances.

Raspberry, Chocolate, Red Wine   The Manjarabad region near Sakleshpur is where Tipu Sultan constructed a fort as a strategic defensive location as it commands the approach to the plateau beyond Sakleshpur from the coast. About 20 km from the Manjarabad Fort, lies the Goorghully Estate nestling at an elevation of 1040 meters. The estate was started by planters F G Faster, Margret Brook and others in 1940. The estate is divided into 3 divisions - the Goorghully & Soondhully division under the Hassan District and the Hoshully (Mudigere Taluk). While the estate grows Arabica and Robusta, it is best recognized for producing a delectable cup of Arabica coffee like the lot we have here. Goorghully is mixed estate with 40% area cultivated with Arabica and 60% with Robusta as well as Pepper, which is grown on the permanent / temporary shade trees as inter-crop in the coffee areas.   Roaster Notes: This is our first ever origin from India and it doesn't disappoint. It cups bold yet with bright acidity but well balanced with the overall character of the coffee - especially as an espresso. Then just at the very end, in the finish, you get a little bit of red wine, coming from it's complex red honey processing. This is a perfect candidate for something in the morning to go with your hearty breakfast.
